Derek Reed Featured in "Navigating the End of New Jersey’s Eviction Moratorium"

Ehrlich, Petriello, Gudin, Plaza & Reed P.C., Attorneys at Law (EPGPR) is pleased to announce the “Navigating the End of New Jersey’s Eviction Moratorium” seminar in partnership with the New Jersey Apartment Association (NJAA).

In the seminar, our very own Derek Reed, Esq. and the NJAA’s Vice President of Legislative and Regulatory Affairs, Nicholas Kikis, will discuss the recently signed legislation that ends New Jersey’s eviction moratorium, S3691. Governor Murphy signed S3691 into law on August 4, 2021, and the bill is designed to provide financial relief to certain landlords and tenants in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. S3691 also includes funding for the Eviction Protection Fund, which will help landlords recover unpaid rent while keeping tenants in their apartments.

The new law is complex and has many moving parts, which is why the NJAA and EPGPR have stepped up to provide a FREE overview of the legislation and outline the steps you need to take to protect your company. Reed and Kikis are also prepared to answer all of your questions about the bill.

The “Navigating the End of New Jersey’s Eviction Moratorium” seminar will give you everything you need to know about S3691, including information about rental assistance programs and what to expect as the courts reopen for landlord-tenant matters. The seminar is part of the NJAA’s Virtual Education Series and requires pre-registration.

As a virtual event, the webinar will be held via Zoom on Friday, August 20 from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

To sign up, please complete the webinar registration online. If you have any problems or need more information, email education@njaa.com.
