Gregory D. Emond is a seasoned litigation attorney whose practice focuses on complex commercial and business litigation, real estate and property disputes, public entity defense, and other high-exposure civil litigation. He represents businesses, municipalities, insurers, public entities, developers, landlords, and individuals in state and federal courts throughout New Jersey and New York. Known for his strategic approach and practical, results-oriented advocacy, Greg has built his career leading sophisticated litigation from inception through trial and appeal.

Greg has extensive courtroom and trial experience and has managed all phases of litigation, from pre-suit investigation and case strategy through trial and appeal. He regularly conducts and defends depositions, argues dispositive motions, examines fact and expert witnesses, negotiates complex settlements, and tries matters before judges and juries. His practice includes complex business disputes, breach of contract actions, partnership and shareholder litigation, business torts, real estate and property litigation, landlord-tenant matters, employment litigation, insurance coverage disputes, municipal liability, and constitutional and civil rights claims.

In addition to his commercial litigation practice, Greg has represented numerous municipalities and public entities in high-exposure litigation involving the New Jersey Tort Claims Act, employment claims under the LAD, CEPA, and ADA, police liability, governmental immunity, and federal and state civil rights actions. He routinely advises clients on litigation strategy, risk management, and practical solutions that protect both their legal and business interests.

Greg is admitted to practice in New Jersey and New York, the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey, the Southern District of New York, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit.
