Derek D. Reed Presents JAHMA Virtual Session on Navigating Compliance with the *NEW* New Jersey Fair Chance in Housing Law

On Monday, December 6, 2021, Derek D. Reed of Ehrlich, Petriello, Gudin, Plaza & Reed and Jamie Borodin of the National Tenant Network will lead a virtual seminar on the New Jersey Fair Chance in Housing Law. The new law goes into effect in January, and the New Jersey Affordable Housing Management Association (JAHMA) seminar will help you understand the law, its implications, and how to best comply.

As a New Jersey property owner and/or manager, you will face significant changes to the application process. Mainly, you will no longer be able to ask about criminal history on most housing applications. If you mishandle an application, you could face a complaint from the Attorney General, so staying compliant is of the utmost importance.

Take an hour and a half out of your day and learn how to navigate the Fair Chance in Housing Act.

Register on the JAHMA website today

Should you have any questions about keeping your business compliant with New Jersey Law before or after the seminar, please call Ehrlich, Petriello, Gudin, Plaza & Reed at (973) 828-0203 or send us a message online to speak to Attorney Reed directly.

We hope to see you there!
