Seminar Landlord-Tenant Law

On Wednesday, June 15, 2011 the Property Owners Association will feature, "Landlord/Tenant Law- Navigating the Legal Minefield." Learn how to minimize your liabilities and maximizing your returns by laying the proper ground work when dealing with your tenancy matters. The program will take place at The Wilshire Grand Hotel, 350 Pleasant Valley Way, West Orange, NJ, and begin at 6:30 p.m. The program is generously sponsored and presented by Levy, Ehrlich & Petriello, Esqs. of Newark, as well as Rifkin & Rosen of Manalapan, NJ.

Among some of the hot legal issues we will explore are the steps you must take to choose a "good" tenant, how to successfully process an eviction case, and how to deal with a tenant's personal property after you legally recover possession of the premises. We will also discuss must have clauses for your lease agreements. Bring your tough legal questions for our panel of experts. You must attend to receive a free copy of the seminar manual that will be packed with useful information and forms!

Attendance at this meeting is FREE for POA members, who are also encouraged to bring a guest with them at no charge. Super Stars are allowed to bring three non- members. Non-members can attend for a fee of $35, which is applicable to membership dues if they join within 30 days.
